What we do with your data.

Reelix Content Creations. We are the ones responsible for anything you send us. Reach us at reelixcontentcreations@gmail.com.

It collects your name, your email, optionally your company, optionally the type of project and when you need it, and your message. That is all of it. There is no phone field, no budget field, and no "how did you hear about us", because we would not read them.

We use it to answer you. The legal basis is your consent, which is why the tickbox is empty when the page loads and the form will not send without it. Web3Forms delivers the message to our inbox. We keep the thread while the enquiry is open and for up to a year after, in case you come back.

We do not add you to a mailing list, sell it, or pass it to anyone else. Ask us to delete it and we will.

If you join it, from the pop-up, the footer or the contact page, your email address goes into our list at Kit, the service we send the newsletter from, and nothing else about you. Kit sends you one email to confirm it was you.

We use it to send you the newsletter: useful info, free resources and insights on growing with short-form video. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by joining. You can take it back any time: every issue has a link to leave, or email us and we take you off. We keep your address until you leave, and we never sell it or pass it to anyone else.

The forms have a hidden field that real people never see, and they check that the page was open for more than a moment before submitting. Both run entirely in your browser. There is no reCAPTCHA, because that would hand your data to a third party and make the form harder to use.

If you allow it, we load Plausible. It counts page views and records the referrer, country, browser and device type in aggregate. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and cannot identify you.

It is off unless you say yes, and nothing analytics-related loads before you choose. Change your mind any time: Cookie settings.

Three small settings, and nothing else: reelix.consent, which remembers whether you said yes or no so we stop asking; reelix.sound, if you turned the sound effects off (the switch is at the bottom of every page); and reelix.newsletter, which remembers that the newsletter pop-up has shown once, so it never shows again. None of them leaves your browser. No cookies are set by this site, by Plausible, or by anything else.

Our host serves the files and keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, to keep the site up and spot abuse. Web3Forms delivers the contact form to our inbox, as our processor under a data processing agreement. It is run from India and its servers are in the United States, so a submission does leave the EEA. If you would rather it did not, email us directly instead. Kit holds the newsletter list and sends it, as our processor. It is based in the United States, so your address leaves the EEA too. Plausible is in the EU. The fonts are served from our own domain, so no font provider ever sees your IP address.

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to fix it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent. Email us and we will sort it within a month. You do not have to explain why. You can also complain to your national data protection authority.

The date at the top is generated when the site is built, so it is always accurate. If we ever change what loads in your browser, the bar asks you again rather than relying on an old answer.
